To start off with I know very, very little about car audio equipment so please bare with me as I try to explain the ordeal. I recently bought a 760 watt Pioneer amp ( Gm-510T) and 2 Pioneer Premier subs ( TS-W1041DVC) which are 800 watts each. The instructions on the amplifier says DO NOT hook it up 4 ohms, they tell you to use 8 ohms. I'm not even sure the amp and subs are compaitable with eachother. Does anyone know?  And if they are how would I go about wiring them? Thanks!

Those subwoofers are dual 4 ohm voice coils, so they can be wired to either 2 or 8 ohms each.  I recommend connecting the subs together in a series parallel wiring for a 4 ohm load.  Look to the left side of this screen and scroll down to woofer wiring under car audio.

According to Pioneer's website, that amp is stable to 4 ohm's bridged: https://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_273305597_274027126,00.html
