This factory Bose deck has a 2nd plug that turns on the amp.
Should i just power up the pink?? on the 2nd plug? Or is ther more to it than that?
I understand the basic wiring on GM but havent seen this 2nd plug B4.
Thanx for the help.

Depending on what level of factory audio system you have, I believe that the dark green wire in the black plug in the third position is the one that turns on the amp. It is two over from the orange battery wire. The pink wire signals the rear seat radio controls that the radio is on. The additional plug is for the radio's aux input like for a CD changer or remote cassette.

Thank you Sparky for responding. We ended up finding that if you just hook the Pink to remote turn on it turned the factory amp on. This truck has NO back seat radio. This may be diff in others but it worked for us.
Thanks again for your response Mike, Mobile Wiring
