looking to install a pioneer deck in an 01 mitsu diamante with the infinity , can you simply bypass the amp like on the eclipse's with the infinity system? or does anyone make in interface to use the factory amp with lo level inputs from a new deck?

Yes, you can bypass like the eclipses, or you can use Metra 70-7003.

pie.net sells a interface for the infiniti system in that car. just make sure that your head unit has at least 2 sets of pre-outs
