I am a rookie when it comes to doing installations, and I have just come across a situation that I cannot get myself out of. I just finished installing an Alpine CDA-9853, along with a Kenwood EQ KCD-6042A. The problem I am having is that I get full power from my amps when I use the CD player and I do not get any power when I switch from CD to tuner. I would appreciate any feedback on this situation. One more thing to add, I have the yellow wire on the EQ conected to the yellow 12 volt memory on the radio. Black on the EQ is connected to the power antenna, and the Blue/White is connected to the remote wire on the radio.

i would definatly check the antenna, and make sure that is hooked up with much certainty. only thing differing the cd player and the tuner seems to be the antenna to me? good luck though.

Correct me if I am wrong but your black wire should be going to ground.
