Out of simplicity and aesthetics, go with a single box. My vote goes toward a sealed box.

but does 2 boxes effect anything NOTICABLE? keep in mind this is getting shoved in the trunk of an accord

I have two 15's in my accord. They just fit real snugposted_image. But no, there won't be problems with two boxes.

Go with a sealed box in my opinion.  A bandpass box is just a one note wonder.  Sealed enclosures are more well rounded and more capable as a whole compared to bandpass.

That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.

yah man, its all up to you, whatever kind of bass you like, i know with 15's they are gonna hit hard no matter what, but they will be louder in a ported box, dont go bandpass, requires way to much space.   but sealed is the way to go for all around nice bass. might have to play with your amp if you put them in selaed boxes tho cause they will probably need more power.

yea i covered up the ports on my crappy box now just to see whats up and it does hit alot better. (never thought ports would affect that.) so im going to end up going with 2 single 15" boxes sealed.

thanks to everyone who contributed. oh and anyone know where to get those boxes fairly cheap. i think those 60 dollar ones on ebay is a hoax???
