whats the best way to get the measuresment for a subbox for a single cab 77 w/no humps in the middle and also when they do a probox w that blck stuff on it is that like that linex stuff   thanks  rob

i have a simple question 4 u guys

i have a ported box for two 12" subs, and it sounds really good. but im going to cover the wood with some kind of material, like carpet or somthing. does it make a difference in sound what i use to cover it with.

its not going to make a diffrence wheather you use automotice carpet or mink, the only way i see it making a differnce is if you decided to cover you box in dynomat or sometype of sound dedner.

what i find usefull when building a box for a truck with wierd angles or humps is to make a template out of cardboard and then cut out the wood, it makes it so much easier.
