Alright, i've got an option of either a
Kicker KX600.4(
https://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-ylhLkGDLXdZ/ProdView.asp?a=0&s=0&g=120&id=features_and_specs&i=206KX6004 ) or a Rockford Fosgate Punch 700X( https://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-ylhLkGDLXdZ/ProdView.asp?a=0&s=0&g=120&id=features_and_specs&i=575700X ) sorry for the long addresses, but which one do you think will be better for a pair of 12" Pioneer TS-W3041C Pro's (https://www.sounddomain.com/sku/PIOTSW3041C). They are both about the same price. Even though the kickers are rated at 300watts x 2 bridged, isn't it usually better than that in reality? But i know Rockford Fosgate is also good, so i don't know. and will either of these amps be sufficient enough to power these subs? Please give me any suggestions, Thanks again-------------
Each to his Own...
Ooo that's a tough one. You're right, both are good amps, and either one of them will work well with those subs.
Both the amps have variable 12db front and rear hi/lo pass crossovers, and both have remote level controls as well.
All in all these two amps are quite similar, but I would probably go with the rockford one if you are buying it from crutchfield, as that one is currently on a $100 off special. I think you get more for your money with the rockford, as it has preamp outputs that can really help for future system upgrades/add-ons; not to mention it's power output is higher than the other amp's output. Even though the kicker's rating is probably understated, rockford amps also usually are understated as well.
