hello my question is this, my 98 navigator came with premium sound and two amps. One for the regular 4 speakers and one for the factory 8" sub. my 8" sub has popped and I wanted to get a new one but I dont know how many watts my factory amp is. Also, if I wanted to upgrade my amp, is there any way that I could use the connections that are the amp on the new one, like the power or the remote or the audio cables. Thanks

If you want to upgrade your sub, don't try using the factory enclosure- either build one, or buy one that's designed for your new subwoofer.  Connect a line out converter to the factory sub wires, and run RCA's from that to your new amp.  You may find a remote turn on lead at the factory amp that you can use, but run your own power and ground.
