I have a 2003 eclipse spyder and i am hooking up subwoofers to it i have a hifonics bx1205D amp and i hooked everything up wiring wise but when i turn teh radio on the hifnoics logo blue light turns on but the power light does not turn on and the subs dont seem to be working....i am not sure where the problem lies becasue if the amp was getting no power then the hifonics logo light would not turn on,,,,if anyone knows what the problem could be please tell me i would greatly appreciate it

Most likley the amp is goin on protect as soon as it turns on. this would mean you have your speakers wired wrong or you have a bad groudn. Or you could have the amp remote wire hooked up to the power antenna lead instead of the amp remote wire comming off hte stereo i belive eclipse puts both on their stereos one would be solid blue then the other would be WHITE/ blue. try runnign power stright into the power and remote turn on and see if the amp powers on.
