Hello, I would have posted this in the ground sticky but im not just getting alternator noise.. im getting every possible noise u can get. I have a 97' Cavalier z24 with a pioneer premier deck, 4 channel infinity amp running my infinity 6x9 and 4x6 inside speakers, a kicker kx1200.1 amp running two kicker L7 12"s. These speakers are picking up every noise, it picks up my turn signals, it will make a noise if u open the door sometimes, if i just have the key set to the ACC position and tap on the steering wheel sometimes it will pick that up, also it even picks up the cd spinning inside the cd player when u first put a cd in. Not to mention the horrible alternator noise im getting. When i turn my lights on and off my speakers make a nouse. My RCAs are ran opposite side of the car, the cd player has its own dedicated ground, ive moved the ground around in the trunk but no luck there. Ive also tried running an RCA cable straight down the middle of the car. One more thing, the wierd thing is when i would disconnect the cd players ground wire my amps would turn themselves off and on with the keys completely off and the subs would make a loud hit. So does anyone have any idea what the problem is with this thing. Also i had this exact system in a 93' Blazer and did not have one problem with it. thank you in advance.

Perhaps you have an issue with the deck, have you tried swapping it for known problem free one? Also it has been mentioned in the past that Pioneer decks are notorious for having bad ground planes, hence your issues.

Yeah you are probly right, i thought the same thing but i was really hoping i was wrong. The vehicle the system used to be in hit a telephone pole at like 65, so im guessing that may have damaged something. The only things i havent messed with is the power wire and the remote wire, any chance those could be causing it? thank you for the quick reply by the way

Definately clean up your grounds at the battery and do the big 3 ontop of that to be absolutly certain its not a grounding issue.
