I am trying to install a Parrot CK3100 in my Chevy 2500HD with the AVIC-D1 just installed.
I need to identify all my wires that hook to my radio.
The wiring diagram that came with the unit is terable and unable to understand, online diagrams are no better.
If you have hooked one of these up before then please give me some advise.
If it's like the CK3000, mark the wires to each ISO plug with tape (just put some tape around the bundle and mark them either radio side or speaker side). Now you can cut the plugs off. Usually I'll just wire up the front speakers to the hands free kit. You'll have a pinout inside your manual that tells you which color wires are for which speakers. Hook the wires in your "radio" bundle to the radio's speaker outputs, and the wires in your "speaker" bundle go to the speaker wires. Connect the yellow wire to the mute wire for your radio. The rest is constant, accessory and ground (red, orange, and black).

If you're referring to the green and brown wires on the power harness, don't worry about them, you'll only use the red, orange, and black. I'm not sure what they are, but will only be used if you're hooking this up to a vehicle with ISO plugs (like a VW).
The female plug goes to the speakers, and the male plug to the radio. It makes a little more sense if you imagine putting it in a German car- you'd unplug the radio, and put the male end in the radio, and the female plug into factory radio harness (speaker side).
