I don't know a lot about their programming and specifics, but I came across that little bit of info on a forum today and I was surprised. Any truth to it?

No, the music channels are in stereo.  In fact, XM is preparing high-def audio 5.1 multichannel broadcasting.  Perhaps some of the talk or sports channels are in mono, I don't know.

That's what I had always thought, but I wasn't sure. I knew the talk radio was broadcast at a lower bitrate, like 32 or 64 kbps.
