Ok, looking at a subwoofer setup for my 02 infiniti Q45. So far I've been looking at 3 different subs, plan on getting 2x of them. Here are my choices so far JL 12W7 12" ( https://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=2066 ), JBL W12 GTI ( https://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=2052 ) or MTX thunder 9500 ( https://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_ID=34&mfg_account_ID=48&sort=account_name ).

So out of your opinion of W7, GTI, Thunder, which one would be the best do you think?

As for powering these Im looking at pioneers's PRS-D3000SPL (https://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_183982244_152869107,00.html), Kicker  04KX1200.1 ( https://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=269 ).

So how about outa those 2 amps?

If you don't like my choices or think theres better PLEASE give me your opinion. Im looking at spending around 700$ max a sub for 2x sub, and willing to spend up to $1,000 to get just one amp, or buy 2 amps for around 500 each.

Also can anyone verify if this site is legit? https://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm , their prices seem almost too good on some items. Thanks a TON ! ahead of time.

I've ordered from woofersetc before, great service and awesome prices. Don't expect a warranty on that JL stuff though.

I've seen the w6's recommended on here over the w7's before.

I'm actually helping a friend out with a somewhat similar idea of what he wants. Probably end up doing two 13W6V2's and the MBQuart RAA1000 mono amp putting out 1000watts rms @ 1ohm.
