I am planning to add a alpine single din center channel,

for the time being untill we change everything over to the DTS and 5.1 with the coming alpine touchscreen and processing setup, we are just going to run it with a bandpass crossover set from the front speakers

We are going to run it via a mono pahntom channel off a ZR600.   The amp itself will be crossed at 350hz but I need to build a seperate inline crossover for just the center, any suggestions on frequencys?

Here is a list of the current setup

(2) Kicker XS100's     [One per 12" L7]

(2) Kicker ZR600's   [one for a set of Kicker MBSS8's located in the doors, one for a set of Kicker SS65.2's in Kick panels, also going to run a phantom channel off the 6.5 amp for the Alpine center channel

(1) Kicker ZR120 [running a set of Kicker SS5.6's]

Power via an Irragi CS144 Large case GM alt, 300amp max draw at idle      (2) Kinetik 2400's in the trunk (1) Kinetik 1800 under the hood

Hi Jeff.  If you can find a Carver XA-28, it is a variable bandpass processor for creating a center channel.  I used to use one and it was great.  If you want to build a fixed passive filter, you probably only need a low-pass up around 5K or 6Khz since you are already high-passing at 350Hz.  But if you can find one of the Carver units on eBay or somewhere, it gives you the ability to adjust the band on the fly to create the best effect from any source material.
