I want to get my amp to one ohm so I can have it at 1000 wat for my alpine swx1042. how would i do that? i forget its been awhile ..

• Mono Power Amplifier
• 300W x 1 @ 4 ohms
• 600W x 1 @ 2 ohms
• 1000W x 1 @ 1 ohm
• Variable High/Low Pass Crossovers
• Frequency Response +/- 0.5dB:10Hz - 500Hz
• THD @ 4 ohms

Your amp doesn't "go to ohms", your subs or speakers present resistance or an ohm load to the amp.

Unfortunately you will not be able to achieve a 1 ohm load with a dual 4 ohm sub. Your best bet and really only other ideal option is to wire in parallel setup to present the amp with a 2 ohm net impedance.
