I have a 2005 Nissan Frontier with integrated steering wheel remote control.  I recently installed a Pioneer AVIC-D1 that has the remote input.  I also bought the PAC adapter to allow for the use of steering wheel controls.  Does anyone know what wire im supposed to use to interface with the pac unit?  Im sure its in one of the leftover plugs behind the stereo, im just not sure which one.

Thanks

Shouldn't the instructions for the Pac adaptor  ID that wire?

Yeah, check the instructions.  It doesn't have 2005 listed, but it should be the same as the previous years.  According to the papers, it should be yellow/red (behind the radio).  It says to also connect yellow/black to ground.  To test the wire, it should rest at +5 volts and read anywhere between 0 and 5 when a button is pressed.

In the instructions, the vehicle wire color colum is blank.  I will try geepherders suggestion, and look for a wire that changes voltage.
