I just hooked up my cd player and the speakers in the door(which I presume are hooked up to the front speakers) are not working? What could be wrong?

How did you wire them?  If you remove the stock head unit the factory amp will no longer get power. You have to figure out a way to turn the factory amp on and off. The way I would do it is bypass the factory amp and run speaker wires from the head directly to the speakers (both front and back).

I believe it is under the rear deck. If you open the trunk and look under the rear deck you should see it. But haven’t seen one in a few years and can’t remember if Im thinking of a Bonneville or a Grand Prix. But if you don’t get any sound you most likely have an amp. Either way the best way to fix all this is to just run new speaker wires.
