hi i have a customer who has a 1998 mercedes C-class. now the trunk rattles a hell of a lot more than other cars, now i was thinking apart from sound deadening, which other areas of the car need attention in terms of them being the most rattly part of the car, this is only for the trunk. If any1 could tell me specific panels that rattle i could pay extra attention and also how and what to do to these panels. thanks ( the reason i am asking this is because some areas where plastic meets metal do not get covered by the dynamat and therefore i need to know about these specific areas)

Get a bass sweep CD ( one that starts with almost inaudible deep bass and moves up from there) I like Bass Mechanic. Each rattle will identify itself as the disc plays. For plastic on metal I like to use closed cell foam strips, like you would use to insolate a window or door. Apply strips to each section of plastic that rattles, works great.
