My wife got a new CD player for her 2002 Cavalier and I wanted to install her factory unit in my 1985 Nissan Maxima. I have the plug for the back of the radio and I can not figure out how to wire the power for it. I read on here that on the 2002-2004 Silverado radios were Data type radios and wanted to know if that could be my problem also and, if it is, is there a way to "get around" that? Thank You for any help,
Benjie

Yes, the Cavalier uses a data signal to power up. Don't try to put it in another vehicle, buy another one.
