Title says it.  I just want to check the impedance load from my subwoofer to make sure that it is in fact 4 ohms.

just plug it 200ohm scale, or maybe even the ->+

Disconnect it from the amp, and use the resistance scale to get a reading under 10.  You'll get a DCR reading, which is lower than impedance (due to the compex nature of impedance).  If you get 3.-something, it's a 4 ohm impedance.  And the curve changes...like often an 8 ohm speaker will read something like 5.8 ohms, and a 2 ohm speaker might read 1.6 ohms.  But you get the idea.
