I need to replace my sub woofer in my 2001 nissan frontier and I was wondering what the wiring diagram is just for the Sub woofer itself.

Nope, because were all clueless as to what sub your talking about....Need a little more info about what sub/amp you have.

The Factory one that you can buy as an upgrade with the car I guess the Rockford set up that nissan offers

Thats only available in the 2005+ models not your year, Its not worth it at all to even attempt putting the rockford set up in your truck, you will get a much better sound with less hassle if you go with aftermarket equipment. The Rockford stuff that comes stock on the new nissans is nothing special at all, there very very cheap speakers still, just have a large name on them. Kinda like saying a Nissan Sentra is a sweet car just because its a nissan, its made by an amazing company, but its there line for poor people who don't give a dam about quality.

No the truck already has a stock sub woofer amp in it and I want to change it. I was guessing on if it was Rockford or not. I just need to know what the wire configuration is at the plug going in to the stock amp.

Oh, humm. Take a stop at your local nissan dealership and see if they can make a copy of the wire diagram for you. Otherwise i would say go to www.4x4parts.com and check out the frontier discussion board, there very helpful on there.
