hello! there could anyone possibly help, i just bought a jeep and i'm not able to operate the audio system i know it require a code but the only message on the LCD screen is wait, and i've been waiting but nothing happening.

was the jeep used?  if so, somebody probably had an aftermarket system in it before.  some factory headunits have a "theft lock" system on them, meaning they will no longer work after they have been unplugged from the car.  normally, you have to remove the radio and call the local jeep dealership to give them the serial number printed on the radio.  they will then give you a code to punch into the factory radio to make it work again.
