i have an older alpine 6 disc changer, and a new jvc kdsh55 deck. now i know that the brands dont have to match, atleast in some cases. i had this changer working with a rockford rfx8350 deck not to long ago before it got stolen. my jvc has changer control, and although the plugs arent the same, is there any type of adapter i can use? i have a diagram showing exactly what each pin on the changer harness is, so i'm thinking if the two dont match up, will i be able to just re-wire the changer to work with my deck? any suggestions, thanks

You could probly call the alpine manufacture and order the adapter. What I would do is get rid of the JVC deck.
