I have some alternator whine (very faint) entering into the system, The hookup is pretty basic dual batt setup pos to the charging lug (tried direct to the OEM batt but the noise is still there) and Ground to the frame on both batts. As soon as I pull the Charge wire (fused link) the noise goes away... Any suggestions?? All grounds are at a single point distribution and 0/1 cable to the frame
Thanks guys

Gm SUVs are very bad with ground loops. Try a ground loop isolator.

What is the typical resistance between these two ( I read 3-6 ohms between the HU and the RCA's) I have checked the resistance between all my components and get a 0 reading between them all (the frame and batt too) I just can't seem to get rid of this....

You can try grounding the outer shields of the rca's directly, but that's just a band aid fix to the problem.

Yeah, I trie that also, I have come to the conclusion that the HU is just a POS and I'll replace it out...
