Anyone had trouble with the Ford F-150 CD/stereo display going out.  It went out only after the truck was 6 months old!  Everything else works fine including the standard dash illumination that lights the numbers and seek buttons.

It's not a loose connection.  I've checked the integrity of the connections inside and out of the radio.

Thanks,

ISabe

It should stil be under factory warranty. Bring it back to the dealership and get a new one or get them to fix it. Don't try to fix it yourself or you may void the warranty claim for this problem.

Jeff, it's a 2000 and out of warranty.  I already went to the dealership and they gave me the cold shoulder.

Really ?!? It's only 2 year old and it's out of warranty ? WOW, that's crappy warranty if you ask me. It must have alot of miles on it then ! There's a place that you can send it to but I think they charge about $ 135.00 for repair to this problem.
