Anybody have experience with the JL ZR mids?  How do they compare with other high end brands like Dynaudio, Morel, Focal, Quart, etc?

What did you think when you listened to them?

I only heard them in a display board.  Obviously that is quite different than in a car.  They sounded ok, but again, that was in a display board.

In what store did you listen to them?

Some dealers will allow you to audition an install before you accept it and if you don't like the sound, swap out the speakers (or other components) for another option.  Ask for this at your local shop.

That's an authorized dealer.  Go buy them and try 'em out!
