added a third sub to my system. looking for a class d amp to replace my crossfire vr600d that makes more or less 1200ish watts @ 2.67 ohms. any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

go to woofersetc.com tons to select from. my favorites, pheonix gold, hifonics, soundstream.

Phoenix Gold isn't bad. The 1200D Orion amp is nice too. I like Precision Power too. I don't hear too many people mention them. Why is that?

check out the new MTX amps. Since they bought out Xtant they have been using Xtant Tech in their new amps. I think the TA81001 would work pretty well. Check out the link below.

me again, any thoughts on db drive amps? was at the local shop today doing some price recon and they tried to sell me a db drive SPA1200.1 (1200w @ 2ohms) for $379. decent price but i have never heard anything on db drive performance.

Nevery heard of db performance.... I try to stick to name brands so I atleast know what to expect out of their product. For only 20 bucks more you could get that Orion 1200D amp I was talking about earlier. It doesn't get too much better than Orion when it comes to amps! (or subs for that matter!)posted_image
