My Audiobahn A8002T amp has a option for High Input Level! What is this for?

Things like this should be covered in the amp's manual.  If you find that the amp has features where info is not provided by the manufacturer, it's probably due to them thinking that this should be a basic "known", or that the info is otherwise easily found...(which it is).  But just in short, that input is a cheap and unreliable way to use the amplifier with a factory deck.

Here's a suggestion, smitty.  Find out more about that HERE and then read through https://www.bcae1.com/ from beginning to end.  You'll get insight into car audio and all that goes with it....and you'll better appreciate everything you can gain from this forum.
