I really like the EF-8's that I have and have been eyeing their subs. Never really heard anything about them though. Anyone have any firsthand experience with CDT subs (particularly the CL series)?

I really like my pair of CL12's..

For what I paid for them, (nearly nothing), they perform better than any other entry level subwoofer I've ever owned..

The built quality and construction, if you can't really tell by the little pictures, is totally first rate... the motor/magnet, bindings, glue, everything is put together very well, and the overrall build quality appears to be superior to many other competetive mid-level woofers.. definately superior to either the JLw3 or Infinity Kappa Perfect... although you'd find the latter much better sounding. Indeed the, the naked rear view of this woofer is awesome, as the *huge* magnet is totally, flawlessly chromed out with that neato little rubber boot.. really good looking woofers.

A tad-one notish is really the only slight I can give the things, but I'm *only* running HALF RMS power to them and I'm still quite pleased.

If you're curious, I have the pair of CL12's running off my JL1800D @ 4-ohms in a 2.75cft box ported to 33hz.

Spectacular subs.
