I'm compelty new and dont know what i'm doing.  I have a 2002 Chevy Malibu and want to add an aux input.  Crutchfield.com says that the "GM9-AUX" will fit my car, though other sites say it only works for '96-2000 malibu's. 

Will this adaptor work for me?  I have a button on my dash that says CD/AUX, will this cycle from CD player then to the aux? Or will I not have a working CD player after installing this? 

Anyone know of a walkthrough or tutorial of how to get into my head unit?  I don't wana break any of the plastic around it so haven't yet tinkered with it yet, in fear of breaking something.
