you try dynamat? or giving it less power?     I am assuming it is vented right now?

I don't recommend any subwoofer in a bandpass box.  Is a Solo X even compatable with bandpass boxes?  I think it would really mess one up.  Like kirktcashalini said...  You need to sound deaden your car.

That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.

well i have 2 l7's in a bandpass with the recomended 1.33 cubic space for each chamber and it really delivers low bass so i was guessing the solox wqould do so to but kicker doesnt seem to right back at the time being when i email them

why don't you reccomend it? i've heard they're great for getting real loud.. and i'm talking properly designed ones mind you, not the crap you buy at best buy with the dual subs.

bandpass boxes sound like junk for the most part. that solo X, which was built PURELY for spl, should be in a vented box, and SHOULD rattle the shhh out of your car. also designing your own bandpass box is near impossible to get right. and a bandpass would restrict it too much, that sub is built to moooove.

Bandpass boxes are one hit wonders.  As kirktcashalini said... It is better off put in a vented box.
