I have an Orion 1200D amplifier and I was going to get an Orion 10" H2 dual 2 ohm subwoofer to hook up to it. Will this amp be enough power? I don't have the room to fit the huge 2500D so its either the 1200 or nothing.

Enough power for what?  To drive the speaker?  Of course it's enough.  To create competition-level SPL?  Maybe, but probably not.  What's the enclosure?

For DYohn's question- the power for competition-level SPL. I figured probably not. With the design being some what different than anything I've ever seen in such a small truck I was hoping I might have a small chance. Not looking to win any huge comps, just wanting to compete. Its going into a ported enclosure ( .75 cu. ft. ) and the speaker will of course have the dual voice coils wired in parrallel to operate the sub at 1ohm since the amp is going to be run at 1200 x 1@ 1 ohm. I've heard of people running this exact same amp to bigger H2's (12's and 15's), but never heard what they thought about it... I can't fit anything bigger so I thought that going with the 10" H2 would make me more than satisfied.

For kirktcashalini that's real funny! I realize now what that sounds like! I meant if it wasn't enough power with the 1200 then I wouldn't even bother hooking that sub to it.

By the way, I know that ported box sounds small but I've already had a discussion about this in another thread... This is what Orion suggests with a 1500 watt amp setup and I figured that 1200 is pretty close... If I'm way off then please correct me. The dimensions of the box seem right. 16.5"W x 13.25"D x 14"H. The box and port are specifically made for this sub, but they do make boxes bigger than .75 cu. ft. for one 10" H2.... I did think that was weird. I would think that Orion knows what their talking about when they recommend certain enclosure sizes for their subs. Any help clearing this up would be much appreciated!

Nobody has ever had experience with an Orion H210.2?
