Ok guys on the side of my amp my gain doesnt quit spinning? WTF is up with that? And what should I set me LPF at? ------------- 1 15" Memphis Mojo,
Memphis 16-mc1000D amp,

when you turn up or down the gain does it change the volume of of your subs? (basically does your gain do anything?) and the LPF, all that does is keeps the highs out of your subs, so turn it up untill you hear some voice / highs then turn it down a little to get rid of the...i've got mine set to 80hz for my 2 - 12" subs, but each system will be different.

gain isn't a volume control. but i'm with stang, i had my sub crossed over at 80Hz. Also, the issue with the gain is that you bought a shhhty amp.

i realise the gain's not the volume control, but when you increase or decrease the gain level the volume of whats on the output side of the amp will have a change in volume....with that you would be able to find out if the gain dial is even working rather then broken internally. but to me it sounds like the dial is broken and should be replaced

It probably broke. The gain knob on my Audiobahn amp broke after three days, so now my gain is set at like 70% with no way to change it. I refuse to spend any money on this amp, so I just left it. I'll run it 'till it dies and then get a better amp.
