Iam considering installing a cleansweep from jl audio to my existing stereo along with a jl 300/4 for amp then upgrading the speakers to focal.The issue here, does the stock stereo change the bass and treble as the volume goes up and defeat the cleansweep as the issue here is I don't want to use the volume control that comes with the cleansweep,so i can have my steering wheel controls still work.

Solve the problem by using the Audio Control LC6 + bass remote or the Audio Control 6XS. It is what I would do if faced with this situation.
