i have the idea of using chicken wire or some kind of screen type stuff to hold speakers in my rear deck... but I've heard that the sound waves (or something like that) from the front and back will cancel eachother out...yes or no?

... this may not be the best idea ever... but i dont like the idea of putting speakers in a box in the trunk, i dont want it rattling around and bumping against other stuff in there (they dont make a custom box for a 97 T~Bird(that i know of)) and the face that the backseat will absorb the sound... any ideas will help... thanks

Are you serious? How exactly do you wanna acheive this. Are you talking about holding the speakers to the rear dash and having them fire up through the dash at the back window. If Thats the case then just screw the speakers into the dash.

the plan is to pull out the rear deck and cut out the metal thats there... trace the board part onto something like chicken wire... but thicker... then make a bracket to mount the speakers to and weld it to that piece... basicly yes, firing at the rear window... i want to do something that looks different and I also want to put the amp in between the two and have some air flow... i've already considered that idea, but i think i've seen it too much, and think i like the way this would look... I'm mostly worried would the sound cancel out or something.... would i have to find a free air sub?

No, that will not work properly, with any speaker.  Sorry.

Are these speakers sub woofers or full range speakers? If they are full range just mount in the stock location. If they are subs you need an enclosure.
