k ive got an alpine cd changer. and a jvc deck. now ive asked alot about this, and ppl tell me alllllll kinds of crap, so i took it upon myself to rip this baby apart and have a look. i need some help here, im going to make my own pin plug to match my jvc's cd changer control input. now i know all the pins for the deck, its in the manual, but the changer itself is what i have trouble with. there is a plug, going from left to right, it looks like this

blue-white-black-red-black-brown-red-yellow-black

now, the blue wire, turns into a thick un-protected silver wire.

the white, black, and red wires all come out of a larger gray wire, (reminds me of an rca wire)

the black and brown are also fed from a larger borwn wire. (again, most likely a signal wire)

now the red, yellow and black are my acc, const, and ground. already tested them, changer turned on.

ok, nevermind. i thought i had the diagram for the pins on the deck, but i dont. instead, what i will do is get a line input adapter that was made for my cd player and modify it to work with the changer, but i still need to know what is what on the changers wiring harness. any input would be great thanks alot.

The Jvc will not be able to control the alpine.  The protocol is different and they will not be able to talk to each other.  Your wasting your time.  Most manufacturers have there own protocols, so they are not interchangeble.
