Here's my dilemma. I have 2 P28S4 8" RF Subs:
50-200RMS, 400W Max
4 Ohms Pioneer GM5000T 2 Channel amp with the following specs:
125Wx2 at 4 ohms
190Wx2 at 2 Ohms
380Wx1 at 4 ohms bridged How do I get the 190Wx2??

PS--What I should ask is, if I wire these together, as if I'm bridging them, both + together, and both - together, will that work or blow my subs? It's a 2 ohm load, but I am attempting the 190Wx2 output my sub's specs indicate.

The amplifier won't be able to operate under a load condition like that. You see in the specs that 4 ohm bridged is the lowest impedance you can bridge across two channels. You have a classic mismatch of equipment for what you want to get out of it. Switch to a mono (one channel) amp and load it with the 2 ohm configuration.

Hi, Thanks for replying. How do they say 190Wx2 then? I ran two el cheapo Pioneer 10s off this from the bridged connectors and they ran fine. Any idea how to get the 190Wx2?

In order to get that 190x2, you would have to run your amplifier bridged with a 2ohm load. And you amp is only capable of handling a 4ohm load [or higher] when bridged. So you could wire them with one to each channel and give them 125 watts each or go buy a new mono amp that will do 400 rms @ 2ohms then wire your subs for that.
