I'm looking to install my alpine CDA-9855 into my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, but the factory radio harness doesnt seem to have a switched wire, or as alpine would call it, an iginition wire? There are two constants in the harness, but the next few slots are empty. I'm considering tapping into the ignition in order to get the switched wire...is there a wire that I am missing in the factory harness? Or another solution to this problem?

mOst likely this vehicle has whats called a CAN-BUS system and youll need a special harness to integrate this system. There is also a chance youll have to retain the factory head unit somewhere in the vehicle to turn on the factory amps
