I installed a Sony stereo in my truck and everyting was fine on my instrument panel. Later on I had a alarm installed and eveything was fine for about 4 days but then the airbag light went on. I asked the installer about it and he told me that it was probably due to the fact that I replaced the factory stereo. Just curious but could that be true.

try disconnecting the cd player. If ligth goes out its the problem. I'm not sure but you may have to disconnect battery to reset? Did you wire the cd player to the plugs that then plug into the truck? I've seen some harness hacked out that have caused odd dash light issues. Give this a shot, let us know how it pans out for ya.
