Just replaced a JL 12W3-V2 with a RE SE Sub in a Stealth Box for the 03 F-150 Harley. WOW! What a difference. The holes are identicle, mounting took 10 minutes. I was going to replace with a JL 12W6-V2 but the mounting depth was a problem. BassBox 6 shows the two drivers are almost identicle in a 1.2 ft box. RE did have a higher Xmax. Listening, the drivers are no where near similar!
Both were tested with a Zapco C2k-6.0.

The RE is much smoother, more extended and doesn't sounded "stressed" like the JL. The helicopter landing in "another brick in the wall" never sounded impressive with the stock StealthBox. The RE brought everything to life. I listen to jazz, country, classic rock, rap and some techno. For the $$$ this sub has surpassed my expectations.

Glad you're pleased with your new sub.

That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.
