I have my trunk dynamated and generally my car is pretty quiet (bass anyway) from the outside but from the inside it rattles. My back deck of my car vibrates and rattles against the rear window. I have a 98 civic and have been told that they do that a lot but there has to be a way to fix it. Anybody have any idea's? I figured there may be some kind of sticky thin foam that could be applied to the plastic so when it hits the glass it wouldn't vibrate so bad. I love my stereo beside that fact so I'd really love to hear the clean sound of it again instead of the crappy vibration of plastic against glass. I'd appreciate all the idea's I can get.

you may try a strip of adhesive backed foam or felt along the back edge of the plastic trim on the rear deck. You can usually get something like that at any auto parts or hardware store.

Do you think it would be expensive to have someone do that for me? I don't know how to take the seats out of my car and all that kind of stuff so I can't really do it myself. I would just try to take everything apart but my amps are mounted behind the seats and I don't wanna mess with any of that stuff.

ok........we have the exact car and here are he step we went to, to make it stop.
removed the rear windo deck, remover trunk lid and cross bars under the deck lid.
fat-matted the under sider of the deck (the metal) and the top covering the whole surface.
mounted our 6.5's in the rear to the top of the deck because there was not enough room to mount them underneath anymore.
fiberglassed 3/4 inch nuts (6 of them) to the under side of the plastic deck
secured it from the inside of the trunk with bolts thru the metal, but not through the plastic!
This was a very extream step, and you might be fine with just the sound deadner across the whole deck surface, but we used and are still using the vehicle for SPL purposes, and we are over the 150db barrier.....So there is alot of rattling going on haha
