This is kinda weird and i dont know whats going on.  Well a couple days ago i installed a new amp in my truck and it worked at first for a while.  So today I reinstalled everything made sure all connections were good, and everything works.  But when i start my truck the amp comes on but has no output.  My voltage reading from the alternator is 14.1 which is fine.  But I dont understand why my amp wont work with my truck running.  If anyone can it would be greatly appreciated.

I assume you are saying it works fine when it's not running?

Narrow it down by testing the RCA's for signal, and feeding your own signal into the amp.  That way you'll know if the problem is with the amp or the headunit.
