i have a 820watt spl 2 channel amp and 2 infinity dual voice coil subs.......the problem is that the amp quit workin today....ive had this combo installed and working for about 2months with no problems at all.....i checked and both fuses in the amp were blown and i replaced them....and check and i have a good ground and power on both the remote wire and the power wire.....im not getting either a red or a green light on the amp when i turn on the head unit, but for some reason when i disconnect the ground only and leave the rca cables connected even with the head unit shut off, the red protect light on the amp comes on?....doesnt make any sense to me....i opened up  the amp and cant see anything fried and the fuses are still good now

any help would be appreciated

Sounds like it's toast.  Is it still under warranty?

That sucks about no warranty on your amp. Sounds like it is dead for sure.

Look on the bright side though - now you have the opportunity to get a nice Infinity amplifier to match your subwoofers!
