What type of enclosure for 2 12" subs is best? I prefer SQL over SPL when it comes to my preferences. I currently have 2 eights in a bandpass pointed towards the trunk opening and it isn't very accurate. Please advise, I am really seriously considering JL's 12w6 or 12w7. Please LMK.

Loud Subwoofers only, do not make a quality car audio system, especially when they are worth more than your "car"

Use a sealed enclosure for accurate bass reproduction. Have it it two seaparate chambers sharing the same box or two identical separate boxes. If you wish to only use a single chamber enclosure wire the subs in parallel so it makes use of the amplifier power. Just make sure that the amp can handle the load of the subs wired in parallel.

I have my 12w6's in a sealed box. They sound great and pound! They are also wired in parallel.
