I just bought a rockford fosgate p5002 and took out my old amp and hooked up the new one... im using 4 gauge ground and power wire, the same ones i had hooked up to my old amp but the new amp never turns on... i didn't change a thing with the wires and i checked the fuses and everything, they are all good. i don't know why it won't turn on.

would it be because i have the subs wire wrong? how would be the best way to wire the p5002 to my 2 cvr12 12" kickers?

This might be a stupid question, but is your turn-on lead working?

Check your connections again. Make sure something didn't pull loose when you installed the new amplifier.

Do you get -any- activity from the amplifier? A light flicker?

never mind, all good... was a bad fuse, it isn't blown but it just wouldn't work, i switched that and it's good now.
