i recently purchased 2 referece series infinity subs which i believe are 200wrms and an ma audio sub that is 300w rms (all subs are svc)now i need suggestions on a proper amp. i had a hifonics amp that was capable of 1ohm but somehow it blew. This time i plan on having everything proffesionaly installed. i might as well get a more powerful amp and turn the gain down cause i plan on upgrading subs soon but i only have money for an amp right now. Since ill be having it professionaly installed i plan on just buying the amp on ebay and having everything proffesionaly wired. I have about 300 dollars to work with. any help is appreciated

I suggest you go talk to whatever shop you intend to pay to have your system "professionally wired" and tell them you have $300 for an amp and you'd like to get something appropriate for your woofers and have it all installed. You'll get better service and just as good a deal as fleabay if you work with a reputable shop, plus your installation costs may go down if you are an equipment customer rather than if you just show up with a box of stuff.

Well i can't really look for amps right now, but do you plan on running all 3 of those subs? It's never a good idea to run 2 different brands of subs. They don't respond to power the same and they sound different. The sound you'll get from 2 different brand subs can vary greatly and cause sound problems.

That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.
i dont think the jbl gto1201.1 is 1 ohm stable but just out of curiosity whats a better amp the jbl or the orion 1200d?

I'd prefer the JBL.
