 I wanted to know if any person knows where the reverse lights wire is located on the steering column or under the dash?

You can find it at the black junction box on the floorboard to the left of the brake pedal.  Take off the plastic nut, then unclip the cover, and there will be a black plug towards the bottom of the box with wires that go up to your headliner.  It is a light green wire.
