I have a Harada automatic radio antenna.  I have lost the instructions.  The antenna has two leads.  One is marked radio trigger and I believe that this goes to the "antenna" wire coming from the radio.  The other wire is marked "Battery".  My problem is this:  Should the "Battery" wire be connected to a constantly "hot" source, or to a lead that is hot only when the ignition key is in the "run" and "accessory" position.

Yes, the battery lead should be connected to 12V+ at all times. The radio trigger lead goes to the lead that shows 12V+ when the tuner is on, usually a blue wire on most aftermarket head units.
