I just put in a brand new deck in my 97 dodge ram. Everything works fine except the speakers will randomly cut in and out, especially when going over bumps etc. Its all of the speakers at once tho, not just one or two they all cut out the exact same! Any Help would be appreciated!

Sounds like a speaker wire(s) is grounding out. I would first look behind the deck, as that has seen the most recent changes.

Was the deck professionally installed?  If so, I would take it back to them and have them look at it.  If not, then I would suggest checking your wiring behind the deck to make sure there is no bare wire exposed.  As mentioned above, that is the most likely place for the problem to be.

Another thing if you did the install, you could have switched the wiring up on one of the speakers and like it stated above it "grounds" out. Had this same problem a couple years back I re-did all the wiring on the receiver made sure everything was wired up correctly and then I double checked the speaker wiring.

Hope this helps!
