Godd day All, i have scoured the net for 3 days looking for the proper subwoofer size on a 2001 chevy tahoe.Does anyone know the size of the sub, and can an aftermarket sub go into the factory enclousure?. If there is a sub that will match the enclosure depth, will you postthe make and model to me?.If there isn't one can someone give me a solid tip to use the factory enclosure with deeper depth sub?.

Thanks in Advance

Russ

look at the Blaupunkt "Thin Series" or their "Overdrive series" of subs... i have used them with success in places i couldnt squeeze another sub many times... they are about 1/3 the depth of other comparable subs...

I use a 10" memphis mclass sub and just make a new box for the sub in the factory location. The sub sounds great and have never had a complaint from a customer yet.
